Festival Špilberk

Dear Brno citizens and visitors of our beautiful city, welcome to this year's festival, which you have experienced with us for a quarter of a century.

In the great courtyard of Špilberk Castle. This year's offer for you again we are specially preparing in a light summer style of opera, film music and popular classics. The world tenor will visit his native Brno this year Pavel Černoch to celebrate his birthday at the only concert in the country. Anniversary accompanied by the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra. The popular Czech National Symphony Orchestra will play music from the famous Bond films and leading Korean Radio Orchestra KBS performs classics by Dvořák, Bruch and Sibelius conducted by Pietari Inkinen. To conclude the concert, the Philharmonic Orchestra will perfor Brno Symphony Orchestra with Leoš Svárovský and the Czech Philharmonic Choir Brno masterpiece that celebrates its bicentenary this year - Beethoven's Ninth with Ode to Joy.
